IELTS Speaking Course: Lesson 5 - Expressions

Hello everyone! Welcome to the second half of this course. In this lesson, we'll be looking at how to utilise certain idioms or expressions (used interchangeably in this lesson) in the IELTS speaking exam to try and expand your lexical resource. The thing to remember here though is 'quality over quantity'. You shouldn't use many, but a well-placed idiom could contribute towards a higher band score.
